Role Summary:
Wave is seeking an Internal Systems & Analytics Associate / Manager to join the Strategy team. This individual will work closely with the VP, Business Operations to drive the day-to-day operating cadence of the business, connect strategy to execution, and ensure teams have the processes, tools, and data they need to perform at a high level.

This role blends hands-on operations work (project management, data operations, meeting and project cadence, process design, resourcing workflows, vendor and tooling coordination) with analytical work (building dashboards, running ad hoc analyses, and turning data into clear, actionable insights). The ideal candidate is equally comfortable jumping into the details of a process, wrangling messy data, and packaging learnings in clear, concise decks for leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Internal Tools, Systems & Automation
    • Own and maintain revenue operations infrastructure in Airtable, ensuring our deal pipeline, inventory, and reporting are accurate, timely, and reliable.
    • Design, test, and launch improvements to Airtable infrastructure in partnership with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance.
    • Evaluate, implement, and connect internal tools that support operational excellence across the business, including project management platforms, CMS, ad servers, social scheduling tools, analytics tools like Tableau, and internal trackers.
    • Build and refine lightweight automations and workflows in Glean, Zapier, n8n, Cassidy, or similar platforms to reduce manual work and improve data quality across internal systems.
    • Create and maintain clear documentation so internal tools, systems, and automations are easy to understand, use, and update by cross-functional teams.
  • Operations & Process Management
    • Map cross-functional workflows (for example content production, show launch, go-to-market, campaign execution) and identify bottlenecks, handoff issues, and failure points.
    • Propose, test, and ship process changes that improve speed, quality, or cost, and document those changes clearly for teams.
    • Support resourcing and capacity planning across key functions (for example Originals, Production, Sales and Revenue Operations, WMA) by maintaining simple, transparent views of workload versus headcount, leveraging Apps Script and Google Sheets.
    • Coordinate with Finance and People Operations on operational inputs to headcount planning, vendor decisions, and tooling needs.
  • Analytics, Reporting & Insights
    • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BigQuery, Looker, and Tableau to ensure executives, talent, and other key stakeholders understand show performance.
    • Maintain our brand campaign reporting system to ensure our Account Managers have accurate campaign performance data to report to their clients.
    • Work with tools like Airtable, Excel/Sheets, Apps Script, Tableau, BigQuery, and Looker or LookML (or equivalents) to clean data, create dashboards, and run deep dives that inform operational decisions.
    • Translate complex analysis into simple, narrative-driven summaries and decks for executives and cross-functional partners.
    • Partner with Finance to ensure monthly aggregation of impressions and revenue booking against our shows is accurate and timely.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of experience in data analytics, operations, revenue operations, sales operations, or business operations at a high growth company.
  • Strong experience as a power user or admin of Airtable or a similar no code database tool, plus advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Proven track record building and maintaining operational trackers and reporting for teams such as Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, or Content (for example pipelines, inventory trackers, invoicing trackers, capacity or resource allocation views).
  • Comfort owning and improving complex, cross-functional workflows, including mapping current state, identifying gaps, and designing cleaner processes that teams actually adopt.
  • Experience working with a BI or analytics stack such as Tableau, Looker, BigQuery, or a similar tool, and ability to take messy data to clean, well-structured datasets and clear insights.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numbers, formulas, references, and links across many connected Airtable bases and Google Sheets.
  • Highly analytical and comfortable managing large datasets.
  • Bias to action: you test, iterate, fail, and improve; you don’t wait for perfect information to move forward.
